Available metrics, dimensions & filters

These are the ten key metrics and dimensions users usually include in their Google Analytics dashboards:

Views
This shows the total number of views of a page or screen. Repeated views of a single page are counted.
Average Purchase Revenue per User
This shows the average revenue per user. For mobile apps, this is the average for in-app revenue only. Acquisition revenue (like app store purchases) is not included.
Engagement Rate
This metric replaces the traditional bounce rate. It shows the percentage of sessions where users interact with your site or app (spend time, trigger events, etc.).
Conversion Rate
This shows the conversion rate for events marked as conversions in GA4, summing up all individual conversion rates.
Cost per Conversion
This metric shows the average cost for each conversion in GA4, focusing on events rather than transactions.
Average Engagement Time
This shows the average length of user engagement, focusing on time spent actively interacting with your site or app.
Events per Session
This shows the average number of events (such as clicks or scrolls) triggered during a session.
Age
This dimension allows you to segment your data based on your users’ age bracket, similar to Universal Analytics.
Language
This dimension allows you to segment data based on the language settings in your users’ browsers, still using ISO codes, like en (English), en-us (English, United States), and en-gb (English, Great Britain).
